CATS Changes
•2 Ashley Park – Service will be adjusted to operate on Mint Street between Morehead Street and Summit Avenue. Route 2 will no longer operate on Morehead Street between Freedom Drive and Mint Street. Passengers on this section of Morehead Street can use Route 5 Airport as an alternative.
•15 Randolph Road – Service will not operate south of Sharon Amity Road. Trips to the Sherwood Forest area will be discontinued. Customers on Randolph Road between Sharon Amity and Sardis Road can use Route 45X Carmel Road Express as an alternative on weekdays.
•25 Clanton Road – Service will be adjusted to connect to the LYNX Blue Line East/West Station and will no longer operate into Uptown Charlotte. Passengers who wish to continue to Uptown can transfer to the Blue Line at the East/West Station. Peak weekday trips will continue to operate to Fieldcrest and Scottsdale Roads. Route 25 Clanton Park will also be extended from the Blue Line East/West Station to the Midtown area to continue service to Carolina Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital.
•30 Woodlawn/Scaleybark Crosstown – Service will no longer operate to the LYNX Blue Line Woodlawn Station and will be adjusted to operate to the Blue Line Scaleybark Station. Route 30 will operate via Scaleybark Road instead of Woodlawn Road between South Tryon Street and the Woodlawn/Scaleybark intersection. Route 30 Woodlawn/Scaleybark Crosstown will be adjusted to provide service from the LYNX Blue Line Scaleybark Station to Park Road Shopping Center and SouthPark Mall.
•77x North Meck. Express – Midday trips will operate between the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) and the Northcross Park and Ride lot in Huntersville. Midday trips will not operate into Davidson.
•Gold Rush Red Line – Service will no longer operate into the circle at the Double-Tree Hotel, but will pick up on Trade Street in that area. Frequency of service will be adjusted to operate every 15 minutes between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Service will not operate past 6:30 p.m.
•Gold Rush Orange Line – Service will not operate south of Morehead Street.
•LYNX Blue Line – The LYNX Blue Line will operate every 10 minutes on weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday service will run every 30 minutes early morning and late night and every 20 minutes midday.
